Problems from Derivative of the linear function

Find the derivative of $$f (x) = 5 (x+3)$$.

See development and solution

Development:

$$f (x) = 5 (x+3) = 5x+15$$

The derivative of a linear function $$f (x) =Ax+B$$ is equal to $$A$$. Therefore, $$A=5$$ and $$B=15$$, so, $$f'(x) = 5$$.

Solution:

$$f'(x)=5$$
